Everyone deserves to feel at home. It’s why we started Fernish in the first place. Yet, amidst the uncertainty of 2020, many families have faced unprecedented hardship, and homelessness has become an all-too-common outcome. We’re heartbroken to see others suffering during such a challenging time.
One of our company’s core values is ‘caring for the communal,’ and this holiday season we want to step up to do our part. So, for every order we get until the end of the year, we’ll be donating a piece of furniture or home accessory to those in need. From mattresses to bedding, pillows, blankets and more, our goal is to help others create a better home.
We’re honored to partner with PATH, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to ending homelessness. PATH provides a variety of services that include interim housing, rapid rehousing, and permanent supportive housing. They also assist with case management, medical and mental healthcare, employment training, and so many other services to those in need. We share in their belief that everyone deserves a place to feel safe and at home. We’ll also be teaming up with other local organizations including Los Angeles LGBT Center and JEM Community Center, with a goal of helping them with their social service and housing initiatives.
It’s important to all of us at Fernish to care for the communal, and to be there for one another when it’s needed most. We’re honored to be able to do our part. Please stay safe and healthy this holiday season.
